水輪三昧

(水輪三昧, 水轮三昧)

The (sa) samādhi of the water 'wheel' [lang id =1028]水輪, one of the [lang id =1028]五輪三昧; water is fertilizing and soft, in like manner the effect of this (sa) samādhi is the fertilizing of good roots, and the softening or reduction of ambition and pride.

水有二義： 一潤漬生長， 二體性柔軟。 謂行者修習禪定三昧， 於地輪中， 若證水輪三昧， 即發諸禪種種功德， 定水潤心， 善根增長， 即潤漬之義。 由得定故， 身心濡軟， 折伏高慢， 隨順善法， 即柔軟之義， 是名水輪三昧。
